Project DescriptionA series of self destructing forms, representing the metaphysical transformation from life to death.

These sculptures represent the fragility of organisms in human made spaces (such as birds, rats, insects), their death supporting our architecture of living. Using two different kinds of clay which are incompatible to eachother, the forms slowly break down over time revealing the hidden layers within, forelimbs used as entities of passage between realms.

Depicting this passage of decay, the project also references the involuntary destruction of the human species in the built envionrment. By causing death to support our own life, we engender a form of self-destruction.
